Hello, I'm Liudmyla Myniuk - Founder of NewTutor

Since you are here, most probably you want to know the story that has led to its creation.

I have been tutoring languages for the past 13 years. Around 2 years ago, I started noticing that more and more of my students started asking me about tutoring itself and how they can become tutors. Of course, I was giving advice, answering their questions, and they would start teaching too. But then I thought, wait a second, there are so many people out there that most probably have the same questions, are lost in a plethora of unstructured information, and have no idea where to start. And this is how NewTutor was born.

I have decided to launch a course for starters. And then it was a hard choice, should I provide all the necessary theory for new tutors or practical advice and theory based on my own experience? And I went for the second option. I understand that people who want to start tutoring do not have much time to spend on learning, and especially pursue lengthy and time-consuming degrees. They want quick, practical, and already working solutions to implement right away. So this is how I built this course.

But it does not stop there, when you join the course, I and other instructors will be with you along the way and even after. You can always ask questions, and we will be happy to answer them.

NewTutor is relatively new, but we don't want to stop on the blog and the course only; we have big plans like introducing a podcast, interviews with experienced and new tutors, new courses, and most importantly, a community of new tutors who want to be together with like-minded people.

But we will not make it without you. Therefore, we will be very happy if you joins and become a part of our growing platform, learn with us, and grow with us.
